Prayer Tour: Learning to Pray Together, Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
Starting July 10th WEUMC intern Carly will be leading a weekly study on meditative and ancient styles of prayer. As a group we will be exploring the Spiritual Disciplines outlined in the Bible for all believers, following along with Richard J. Foster's Celebration of Discipline: A Path to Spiritual Growth. In conjunction with Foster's recommendations on meditative prayer, we will each receive a Protestant Prayer Rope with which we can practice our newly learned habits of prayer. The group will meet weekly from Wednesday, July 10th to Wednesday, July 24th at 7:00 pm in the new building.
**If interested, please RSVP on the registration sheet or contact Carly Bratcher, firstname.lastname@example.org

Tickets are $12 each and will need to be paid for no later than the end of the 11:00 am service on Sunday, July 14th so we can order and get our group discount.
There is a sign up sheet in the Narthex for anyone that would like to attend. Please contact our Youth Coordinator, Matthew Peele (call or text 910-709-3207), with any questions. You may bring your money for tickets to Lynn in the office or give it to Matthew.

2019 Flower Calendar
The Flower Calendar will be posted in the Narthex near the end of December for anyone that would like to provide flowers for the Sanctuary during 2019. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize those who are important to you or to offer a memorial to those who are no longer with us. Remember to put your name on the Flower Calendar, fill out the order form and return it to the office with your payment at least one week prior to the date you sign up for. Thank you to those members of the congregation that provided us with the lovely flowers for the Sanctuary during 2018.
VOLUNTEERS, HELPERS & OUTREACH
Church Offering Counter Needed
West End United Methodist Church has a team of six people who share the responsibility of counting the Church offering on Sundays. One of our counters is retiring and we are seeking a replacement to start in February. The job includes counting and totaling cash and checks and entering the amounts into a spreadsheet. Really very easy. Two people work together and it takes only about an hour. The volunteer will work every third month. If you would like to assist our church with this ministry, please contact Judy Seldomridge at 910-690-3331.Ushers for July
