Gloria donates a portion of the proceeds to Smile Train, the international children’s charity that repairs cleft lip and palate. Church Offering Counter Needed

West End United Methodist Church has a team of six people who share the responsibility of counting the Church offering on Sundays. One of our counters is retiring and we are seeking a replacement to start in February. The job includes counting and totaling cash and checks and entering the amounts into a spreadsheet. Really very easy. Two people work together and it takes only about an hour. The volunteer will work every third month. If you would like to assist our church with this ministry, please contact Judy Seldomridge at 910-690-3331.

Thank you to everyone that packed a shoebox this year for Operation Christmas Child
Because of your generosity we were able to send 64 shoeboxes to be distributed to children in need around the world. A special "Thank You" is extended to our American Heritage Girls troop for packing 20 shoeboxes and to Ravon’s students for packing 24 shoeboxes.

A special Thank You
To those who put together the Advent Devotionals for Christmas 2019; especially Cathy Sheffield who persistently nudged us to hand in our stories.

The Advent Book, The Dawn of Hope, spoke spiritually to me.
The power and effect of the Lord you could see.
These very personal stories from our heart
Bring us closer together
And not move us apart.
Thank you, Thank you
Sincerely from our heart
Blessed by your Words!
